For job seekers

Let Web3 teams come to you.

List a free public profile, say what you are looking for and share one link. Hiring teams find you and reach out.

  1. 01

    Create your profile

Headline, skills, a short intro and the roles you want. About three minutes.

  2. 02

    Choose what is public

Private, employers only, or the open directory. Your email and CV are never shown publicly.

  3. 03

    Share your link

Send it to anyone. Hiring teams can unlock your contact details when they want to talk.

Why list your profile

Be found before a job is posted

Teams search the directory by role, skill and availability, so you are visible to hiring teams that have not advertised yet.

One link for everything

Your profile has its own page you can put in a CV, an email or a bio, with a preview card when you share it.

You stay in control

Public, employers only or private, with a switch to keep search engines away. Take it down in one click.

Free for you

Employers pay to unlock contact details. You never pay to be listed, and you are told when someone unlocks you.

What people can see

  • Your name (first name and last initial by default)
  • Headline, skills and short intro
  • Roles you want and when you are available
  • Location and links you choose to add

What stays private

  • Your email address and sign-in details
  • Your CV and contact email (shared only if an employer unlocks you)
  • Your LinkedIn (same: only after an unlock)
  • Anything you leave blank

Frequently asked questions

Getting started

Is listing my profile on web3job.work free?

Yes. Creating and publishing a profile costs nothing, and it stays free. Employers pay to unlock contact details; you never pay to be found.

Create my profile →

How long does it take to set up a profile?

About three minutes for the basics: a headline, a few skills and a short introduction. You can add links, a CV and the roles you want afterwards and improve it any time.

Open the profile editor →

What should I write in my headline and introduction?

Say what you do and for whom, for example “Senior Solidity engineer, DeFi protocols, 6 years”. In the introduction add what you have shipped and what you want next in two or three sentences. Specific beats clever: hiring teams skim.

How Web3 companies vet candidates →

Which roles can I say I am looking for?

Choose up to three: Smart Contract, Frontend, Backend, Protocol Engineer, Security / Audit, Design, Product, Marketing & Growth, Community, DevOps or Non-Tech. Each role has its own page in the directory where employers browse.

Can I be a job seeker and an employer on the same account?

Yes. You can switch between a job-seeker and an employer account in your settings without losing either. Your profile and any jobs you posted stay as they are.

Privacy and control

What can people see on my public profile?

Your display name (first name and last initial by default), headline, skills, introduction, the roles you want, your availability, location and any links you choose to add. Nothing else.

See how profiles look →

Is my email address or CV public?

No. Your sign-in email, your contact email, your LinkedIn and your CV are never shown publicly. They are shared only with an employer who unlocks your profile, and you are told when that happens.

Can I use a nickname instead of my real name?

Yes. Set a display name in the editor. By default only your first name and the initial of your last name are shown; you can choose to show your full name if you prefer.

Edit display name →

Can I make my profile private or take it down?

Any time. Switch visibility to Private (only you) or Employers only, and the public page disappears immediately. If you list again later, your share link stays the same.

Change visibility →

Will Google show my profile?

By default public profiles can appear in search results so people can find you. If you would rather share only by link, tick “Keep my page out of search engines” in the editor.

Getting found and hired

How do employers find me?

They browse and search the talent directory by role, skill, availability and location, and open the role pages. People who are open to work and keep their profile fresh are listed first.

Browse the directory →Smart Contract talent →Frontend talent →

How do I get more employers to see my profile?

Go live, mark yourself open to work, pick your roles, write a real introduction, list five or more skills, add GitHub or a portfolio, and refresh the profile every month or two. Then share your link: it works anywhere you can paste a URL.

Improve my profile →

How does an employer contact me?

An employer who has an unlock credit opens your profile and unlocks your contact details. You receive an email telling you which company is interested, and they can reach you at the contact email you provided.

Can I share my profile link with a recruiter?

That is what it is for. Your profile has its own address you can put in an email, a CV, a social bio or a message to a recruiter.

Is a profile different from applying for a job?

Yes. Applying sends your details to one employer for one role. A profile lets many employers find you before a job exists. Doing both gives you the best chance.

Browse Web3 jobs →Check salaries by role →

What do Web3 roles pay?

It varies a lot by role, seniority and location. Our salary pages show ranges from real listings so you can price yourself sensibly before you write your headline.

Trust and safety

Can people review my profile?

Signed-in members can leave a 1–5 star review and a short note at the bottom of a profile, company or job. A profile whose average falls below 3 stars across at least 3 reviews gets a visible red flag. You cannot review yourself.

Browse the directory →

How do I report a fake or inappropriate profile?

Open the profile, scroll to the bottom and use the Report link. Choose a reason and add details if you like. Our team reviews every report, and profiles that break the rules are hidden.

I am hiring. Where do I start?

Browse the directory and unlock the people you want to talk to, or post a job and let candidates apply. Many teams do both.
